As the powerful successor to the 1030, the Edge® 1040 is the star of GARMIN's GPS bike computer sky. On the high-resolution transflective 3.5" display, you can configure preferred settings, scroll intuitively through the desired data views with the swipe of a finger or navigate worldwide thanks to multi-frequency reception of global satellite systems. You can view the popularity maps to see the most travelled routes for road biking, gravel biking, trekking or MTB, recommended based on billions of kilometres. Accurately record your mobility data and analyse captured ride and performance data.

Equipped with a GPS receiver, altimeter and motion sensors and connectable with external sensors, the Edge® 1040 is able to provide you with the important values you need and organise them well. Discover new ways to increase performance and endurance by using optional sensors to control your power input with Power Guide and keep an eye on your remaining energy with Stamina. Identify your personal strengths and weaknesses and get feedback on the requirements of the planned route. Live tracks can be activated directly from the device, profile settings as well as sensor couplings can be transferred directly from an existing Edge device.
